Permaculture teaches the basics of understanding nature and thinking green.
It is a practical and common sense approach to designing and creating anything, based upon the patterns found in nature. It is often applied to food production and land use, but is equally valuable when applied to buildings, organisations and much more.
During the weekend course, you will learn about:
- Permaculture ethics and design principles
- Design processes and tools
- Applying permaculture thinking to many issues from growing food to refurbishing your home
You can use the weekend as the first two days of the 12-day Permaculture Design Certificate, a qualification accredited by the UK Permaculture Association. Dates of subsequent sessions for 2015 are listed below.
